Expressing gratitude through giving is at the heart of Delilah’s monthly donations – a belief shaped by her son Elijah’s journey. Born with congenital heart disease, Elijah spent 18 years being treated at SickKids, beginning with open-heart surgery at just three months old. Through every procedure, her family was lifted by the team’s extraordinary care and compassion. 

The unwavering support continued when Delilah became pregnant with her second child, Laylah. SickKids supported additional precautionary testing – giving Delilah peace of mind and deep gratitude that Laylah’s heart is healthy.

For over 25 years, Delilah has given to SickKids – an expression of gratitude, and a way to help other families hold onto the same hope she was given.
